Canon Medical Systems, SA, a global leader in diagnostic imaging solutions, becomes the official medical technology supplier of Valencia CF. This alliance will allow the Club to integrate advanced medical imaging systems into its facilities for the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of sports injuries over the next two seasons.
As part of this agreement, Canon Medical Systems, SA will provide Valencia CF’s medical team with state-of-the-art diagnostic imaging technology, including a high-end ultrasound system, the Aplio i800, designed for high-performance environments such as professional football. This system will improve musculoskeletal assessment, speed up diagnosis times, and optimize player recovery strategies.
Pedro López, Head of the Medical Department at Valencia CF, highlights that: “This agreement allows us to have access to a top-level medical technological tool, something essential not only for the diagnosis and prevention of sports injuries but also for the complete evaluation of the footballer. With the incorporation of Canon’s new Aplio i800 ultrasound system, our healthcare professionals have a very high-quality imaging system that can be easily exported to our clinical platforms for the study, analysis, and comparison of results. We are very happy and excited to have Canon Medical’s technology available for our players.”
